Predictive Processing theory, hotly debated in neuroscience, psychology and philosophy, promises to explain a number of perceptual cognitive phenomena simple elegant manner. In some its versions, the theory is ambitiously advertised as new conscious perception. The task this paper assess whether claim realistic.
